We started RaceBeam for a simple reason. From October to March, the trails we love are dark by four in the afternoon.
Most riders solve this by buying a cheap light, discovering it cannot cope with real speed on real terrain, and buying a second one six weeks later. Then a battery. Then a mount that fits the battery. None of it was designed to work together.
RaceBeam is the kit we wanted to buy. One light bright enough to ride hard behind, one battery big enough to outlast the ride, and every mount in the box.
5000 lumens of adventure grade output, from wide flood to focused spot.
Runs the light through long rides, and charges your phone, GPS or camera.
Tool free, secure on rough terrain, off the bars in seconds.
Fits any GoPro standard hardware you already own.
Run the battery in a pack or frame bag and keep the cable tidy.
5000 lumens is not a number for the box. It is the difference between guessing at a corner and seeing it. Wide flood for technical descents, focused spot for open trail and speed.
The 20 000 mAh pack runs the light, then charges your phone, GPS or action camera on the drive home. One thing to remember, one thing to charge.
Enough to run the light through a full session, with charge left for a phone, GPS or action camera.
